The friends began to search the cabin, examining every nook and cranny. They discovered a hidden compartment in an old bookshelf, containing a note with a riddle. "Let's go," said Sam, already heading towards the sunroom.
In the sunroom, they found a beautiful winter scene painted on a window. As they examined the painting, they noticed a small, almost invisible mark. It was a tiny arrow, pointing to a nearby wooden chest. The chest was locked, but Emma found a small key hidden in a nearby vase.
"I did it," said Emma, beaming with pride, as the chest creaked open.
"Wow, it's full of winter treasures," whispered Max, his eyes wide with wonder.
"We did it, team," said Sam, grinning from ear to ear.
As they explored the treasure chest, they found all sorts of cozy winter delights: soft blankets, warm hats, and sweet treats. The friends realized that the real treasure was the joy of solving the mystery together, and the warmth of their friendship. As they sat by the fire, surrounded by their winter treasures, they felt grateful and content.
"This was the best winter mystery ever," said Emma, snuggled up in a soft blanket.
